PPL flight Training 50 Hours, 6 months
PPL is your first goal as a pilot, it provides foundational knowledge and skills for all future aircraft pilot training. As a Private Pilot, you can fly an airplane day and night in visual flight conditions.
In fact, you can even carry passengers, such as friends, family, and co-workers. Still, there are some restrictions.
Course content

Must pass medical tests done by Uganda Civil Aviation Authority medical examiner. Must be aged above 17 years Must pass an aptitude test prepared by the Academy with at least 70% pass mark |
It is a 9 months (36 weeks) course for Dispatchers, 6 Months (Theoretical) and 3 Months on Job training.

This a 3 months, 20 Hours Flight training.
FIC Rating course will train pilots to become Flight Instructors.

A 12-month (48 weeks) Training
Commercial Pilot License (CPL) is a type of license that legally allows you to fly an aircraft and get paid as a pilot. Having a CPL means you already hold a Private Pilot License (PPL), and you have finished your training towards CPL. A licensed commercial pilot may act as pilot-in-command (Captain) of an aircraft for compensation or hire and carry people or cargo
CPL Flight Training 105 Hours, 12 months
Qualifications The applicant must Private Pilot License. Must pass medical tests done by Uganda Civil Aviation Authority medical examiner. Must be aged above 18 years Must pass an aptitude test prepared by the Academy with at least 70% pass mark |
This is a 40 hours flight training in 3 months
The course consists of two modules, which may be taken separately or combined.
Qualifications The applicant must be holding a valid Commercial Pilots License. Must pass medical tests done by Uganda Civil Aviation Authority medical examiner. Must be aged above 18 years Must pass an aptitude test prepared by the Academy with at least 70% pass mark |
This ia a 3 months (12 weeks) course
And it's the highest level of certification an aircraft pilot can have. ATPL training consists of ATPL Theory classes, similar to a ground school phase, wherein the outcome of completing this course is an ATPL Theory License or a Frozen ATPL (FATPL). After this, a pilot needs to meet at least 1500 flight hours experience to be eligible to take the ATPL check (practical test).
